Black History Event : 

Greater New Guide Church family, we are excited as we prepare for our Black History Celebration — Soulful Roots: Faith, Freedom & Fellowship. We want to take a moment to apologize for the link issues many of you experienced. The sign‑up form is now working, and we’ve extended the deadline through Sunday, February 22 at midnight.

We are still welcoming participants for our Taste Fest, our Business Showcase, and our Black History Program. If you’ve been thinking about joining in, this is the perfect time. Your presence, your gifts, and your voice matter. We want this celebration to reflect the beauty, strength, and creativity of our entire church family.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Greater New Guide family, the Vacation Bible School Ministry is now soliciting volunteers for our 2026 Vacation Bible School program! This announcement will run from this Sunday through March 15th.

Join us as we “Shine a Light on Jesus” for Vacation Bible School, taking place June 23–25, 2026. We are asking you to use your gifts and talents to serve in a variety of ways — teaching, assisting, serving, recording activities, taking pictures, and more.

BLACK HISTORY EVENT

Greater New Guide Church family, 

We are excited to invite you to Soulful Roots: Faith, Freedom, and Fellowship, inspired by 

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Join us on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM in our Family Life Center. Soulful Roots is a celebration of our faith, our heritage, and our unity as one church body. This event is for every member of GNGBC, children, youth, young adults, adults, and seniors. Everyone is invited. Everyone is needed. We are excited to share that the Arthur & Friends Community Choir will be in attendance! This year, we are also highlighting Black-owned businesses within our

church and surrounding communities, supporting entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among us. And of course, we are bringing back our Annual Taste Festival! This is where we can all participate by signing up to bring one of your famous dishes to share with our GNGBC church family. Whether it’s a dessert, side dish, entrée, or family specialty we want to taste the love!

February is dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and promoting education on prevention.

 Learn the risks of heart disease and take steps toward better heart health.

 To help shine a light on heart disease as a leading cause of death in America, we invite everyone to WEAR RED on Sunday, February 15, in support of heart disease awareness and to help save lives.

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope.
