To Pastor Mark Thomas and Our Dearest Church  family,

We are so GRATEFUL to God for allowing us to have such a wonderful church family. We deeply appreciate the outpouring of love, comfort, and countless acts of kindness we have received.  Expressions from the quiet prayers whispered on our behalf, to the comforting visits, thoughtful messages, and practical assistance every single gesture has made an incredible difference and been a source of immense encouragement and comfort. 

All have meant so much to us and will  be remembered not just for right now during this time of illness and recovery, but also for past times. Your thoughtfulness has been a consistent anchor throughout the various storms and trials that life has presented us with over recent years. 

We are truly humbled and blessed. We are continually growing and learning how to show  mercy and grace through that which has been given to us. We feel God's hand in our lives through the love and fellowship you continually extend to us. For this, we are eternally thankful and will forever cherish. Our faith has been strengthened and we are reminded constantly of God's presence, observing it working through each of you. It is with hearts overflowing with profound gratitude and heartfelt love that our family and we express our deepest thanks.

Music Ministry

So You Say You Can Sing!

Our music ministry is accepting new and returning choir members.

Join us for choir rehearsals on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 PM. All new and returning members will begin rehearsal on Thursday, April 2nd. If you have any questions, please contact the Director of Music, Antonio Rice, via the church office at 225-356-4410.

With 100% support of Thursday morning regular students, Thursday morning Bible class will move to Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. beginning April 1, 2026.

Greater New Guide family, the Vacation Bible School Ministry is now soliciting volunteers for our 2026 Vacation Bible School program! 

Join us as we “Shine a Light on Jesus” for Vacation Bible School, taking place June 23–25, 2026. We are asking you to use your gifts and talents to serve in a variety of ways — teaching, assisting, serving, recording activities, taking pictures, and more.

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope.
