UNIFORM & TENNIS SHOE DRIVE ANNOUNCEMENT

Greater New Guide Baptist Church's Children, Youth, Young Adult & Scholarship Ministries, in partnership with the Clothes Closet and Home Missions Ministry, are now accepting donations of new school uniforms, tennis shoes, and belts for elementary and middle school students.

Donations will be distributed during our Level Up: Mind, Body & Spirit Back-to-School Summit on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Deadline will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026

As an additional resource for those who would like to donate, The Salvation Army Family Store on Airline Highway currently has brand-new school uniforms with tags for only $4 each, while supplies last. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase uniforms at an affordable price and bless a student in our community.

Donation bins are located near the church office, the kitchen on the main campus, and in the Family Life Center.

Thank you for helping us equip students for a successful school year and for being a blessing to families in our community.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUMMIT

LEVEL UP: Mind, Body & Spirit Back-to-School Summit

Attention students, parents, educators, and families! Registration is now open for Greater New Guide Baptist Church's Level Up: Mind, Body & Spirit Back-to-School Summit on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

This free community event will feature inspiring breakout sessions for children, youth, young adults, college students, and parents, along with interactive life skills stations, lunch, giveaways, and resources designed to help students begin the new school year spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared.

At the conclusion of the summit, registered participants will have the opportunity to receive school supplies, new school uniforms, tennis shoes, and belts while supplies last.

Maintenance/custodial needs and concerns must be coordinated with the Church’s Interim Business Administrator, Sheila Turner. Complying with this request will help maintain the highest level of respect, efficiency and order. The maintenance/custodial staff have agreements that must be honored upon employment and given specific instructions daily.
