Healthcare Ministry 

Greater New Guide Baptist Church is pleased to invite you to participate in our upcoming Health & Wellness Fair, hosted by the Health Care Ministry.

The goal of this event is to increase health awareness through screenings and education, while promoting healthy lifestyle changes within our congregation and the surrounding community. We anticipate approximately 100 attendees and would be honored to have you join us as a vendor to share resources and services that support healthier living.

Patsy D. Ricks, sister of Terry Washington, sister-in-law of Wallace Washington, Jr., and aunt of Candace Washington, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

BLACK HISTORY EVENT

Greater New Guide Church family, 

We are excited to invite you to Soulful Roots: Faith, Freedom, and Fellowship, inspired by 

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Join us on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM in our Family Life Center. Soulful Roots is a celebration of our faith, our heritage, and our unity as one church body. This event is for every member of GNGBC, children, youth, young adults, adults, and seniors. Everyone is invited. Everyone is needed. This year, we are also highlighting Black-owned businesses within our

church and surrounding communities, supporting entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among us. And of course, we are bringing back our Annual Taste Festival! This is where we can all participate by signing up to bring one of your famous dishes to share with our GNGBC church family. Whether it’s a dessert, side dish, entrée, or family specialty we want to taste the love!

Parents & guardians are not required to list their children's names up to age 25 on the envelope. Instead, select the “family” option on your envelope. Individuals age 26 and above must complete a separate envelope.
